No roast is complete without the perfect barbecued Yorkshire’s and we’ve got the perfect recipe for you! Did you know you could cook Yorkshire Puddings on the barbecue?!
Ingredients
- 140g plain flour
- 4 eggs
- 200ml milk
- sunflower oil
Method
Step 1
Set up your barbecue in an open space. Once lit, wait for the flames to die down and for the charcoal to become an ashy white color.
Step 2
Drizzle the sunflower oil evenly into the molds of the bun tray so that it's covering the bottom of the mold.
Step 3
To make the Yorkshire Pudding Batter, tip 140g plain flour into a bowl and beat in 4 eggs until smooth. Gradually add 200ml milk and carry on beating until the mix is completely lump-free - You can even season with salt and pepper if you wish.
Step 4
Place the tray onto the barbecue and fill the molds of the bun tray evenly with the batter. Please note not to fill all the way to the top as the mixture will rise.
Step 5
Leave undisturbed on the barbecue for 20-25 mins until the puddings have puffed up and browned.
Step 6
Serve immediately.
